Ronnie Adler

Member of the Board of Directors

Ronnie Adler is proud to be on the 3 Tiny Bones board of directors. She is currently one of the national HLAA Walk4Hearing directors. She has been an HLAA member since 1988 and joined its staff in 2006 working to develop the new Walk4Hearing program. Ronnie is a leader of the HLAA All Generations Chapter in Pennsylvania. In 2007, was recognized with a national Oticon Focus on people award for her advocacy to create awareness about hearing loss in communities across the country. Ronnie works from her home in Pennsylvania where she lives with her husband, son and a lovable dog named Macey. Ronnie loves to travel, cook and bake for social events, and relax with family and friends.

Ira Handa

Member of the Board of Directors

Ira Handa is a defense side labor and employment attorney at an international firm, Jones Day. She represents employers in various matters involving federal, state, and local labor and employment statutes, including the Fair Labor Standards Act and state wage and hour statutes, Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, New York Labor Law, and other state and local laws. Her practice includes counseling clients on a wide variety of issues including anti-discrimination, diversity initiatives, executive pay, hiring, termination, reductions in force, and wage and hour laws. She also conducts anti-discrimination and harassment training sessions for the workforce. Ira has experience in conducting internal investigations and audits. 

Ira maintains an active pro bono practice. She provides counseling to nonprofit organizations on employment practices. She also represents clients in immigration and family court proceedings and was a member of the trial team representing a Honduran child seeking protected status in the United States.

Her first job was that of a “corporate spy” – a fast food chain hired her to go to outlets and pretend to be a customer and then write reviews. It involved eating loads of burgers and fries !!
