Music Safety at School Dances
We ensured a safe volume at the Downingtown STEM Academy Homecoming and Prom dances, protecting the health of hundreds of students and faculty in attendance. Having the music at a safe volume does not lower enjoyment, as students rated the event 4.22/5. 85% of students thought the music volume was “just right” or even “too loud!”
Hearing Loss Support Day
On June 7, 2022, we handed out ribbons for hearing loss awareness. 250+ students and faculty wore a ribbon to show support for the hearing loss community and for the cause of hearing health.
Sign Language and Communication
A blog series covering interesting topics related to communication with deaf and hard of hearing (HoH) people such as assistive hearing devices, new technologies, sign language, and so much more!
Outreach and Events
We are a presence at events like HLAA’s Philadelphia Walk4Hearing, the Philadelphia Festival of India. Our booth has educated hundreds of people through fun games and activities, and we’ve given out hundreds of pairs of earplugs to promote hearing health and safety.
